24 to 48 hours. Many years will pass before the case is "solved".
However, J.J.
Maloney's investigative
articles about the Kansas City Firefighters Case provides a
very comprehensive background understanding of the complexities
involved in the eventual legal case. Maloney clearly articulates his
investigative findings, and shows that a
quest for closure in the case far outweighed any search for truth.
In the end, five innocent people were deemed expendable so that a
case could be put to rest.
